André is a highly experienced generalist policy analyst, researcher, systems analyst, and writer with nearly four decades in the public sector. His experience in the last decade includes developing a construction health and safety system for the Defence Force, researching health workforce issues for the Ministry of Health, writing a Safety by Design manual for the Defence Force, drafting a submission for the Pharmacy Council on the Therapeutics Products Bill and Regulatory Scheme, preparing a business proposal for MedicAlert New Zealand and drafting consultation documents and reviewing submissions for the Sustainable Funding Project for the Ministry of Justice. His other clients include the Auckland Council, EECA, the Ministry of Education, Civil Defence & Emergency Management, the Human Rights Commission, the Department of Corrections, Inland Revenue, and the Department of Internal Affairs.
