Chad Preece

Chad is an expert in establishing and leading high performing teams and solving complex problems. He has 25 years’ experience successfully managing people and outcomes, in small teams and in large organisations of more than 150 people, including in international settings. Chad is experienced in developing team cultures based upon organisation values and smart, effective ways of working. He has significant experience at senior levels, both in delivering critical projects from inception (including project set-up and business case development), as well as ensuring that critical operational and strategic outcomes are met.

Chad thrives in settings that require fast learning, effective communication and immediate delivery. He has practical experience in applying his education in science/technology, strategy and policy, with over 25 years’ experience in New Zealand’s Army as well as experience in major capital project set-up and delivery, and programme-level management, monitoring and reporting to senior officials. He also has operational leadership experience, in both “day-to-day” and emergency management settings.
